Q What else can we do besides fishing?
A All activities very close by, most within walking distance - Souvenir shops, golf, Ice-cream parlor, Greens Bar, mini-golf, swimming, snorkeling, tennis courts, hiking and biking trails, wild life observation, rock paintings, cultural events, church services,

Q Do you have a Liquor License?
A Yes, we have a liquor license for our bar and lounge area.  Guests can also bring their own beer, liquor and wine and drink it anywhere except in the bar.

Q Can we bring our pets?
A We have a camp dog, so we accept family pets.  We ask that you please look after your dog.  We find most sportsmen have well trained dogs. Guests will be responsible for any damages to furniture etc.  No cats.

Q Is your lodge "wife friendly"?
A "Wife friendly "seems to be a new buzz word and we are often asked this question.  Meline's Lodge is very wife friendly - by this we mean each cabin is spacious and very modern. Each is totally equipped with a modern kitchen, new furniture, remodeled bathrooms, air-conditioning, deck with BBQ, private parking, close to shopping, Greens Bar, mini-golf, other restaurants, etc.

Q Can we bring our own boat?
A We have many guests who bring their own boat and they challenge Lake of the Woods on their own.  Some guests dine with us in our dining room; others cook for themselves in their cabin or combine a little of both.  There is no charge to tie your boat to one of our docks.  Each dock has electrical outlets and lights.  Our guests can also hire a guide to fish with them in their boat. 

Q Does Melines Lodge sell gas/bait/ice?
A Yes, we have a gas pump servicing the main dock for our guests.  We also sell ice and bait to our guests only.

Q Are all of your packages for 1 week?
A No, we will try to fit in every group, for any duration they request.  We try to work with our guests to plan an experience that suits their group.

Q What is your Cancellation Policy?
A We understand that late cancellations are an unavoidable part of this industry, however, in such a short season cancellations are very costly to us, especially during peek times.  We prefer to apply any cancellation deposits toward a different package on another date.  However, if we encounter cancellations less than 2 months before the arrival date, the deposit may be forfeited.

A Accommodations - (represents 17.5% of total AP tour cost)

Q Does Meline's  Lodge accept larger groups?
A We specialize in providing high-end personalized service to larger corporate groups, clubs and family groups.  We can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Q Does Melines Lodge accept credit cards?
A We accept Visa, Master Card and Personal Cheques.

Q Is there access to a phone, internet or wireless internet?
A We have a phone and a computer with internet for our guests to use in the main office.  We also have wireless internet for those guests who wish to bring their own lab tops.   We also have a pay phone for more privacy.
